[broadcast] Red Bull Radio: Peggy Gou

“Peggy Gou’s name is now synonymous with the sunny house earworms she has produced for London-based labels like Rekids, Phonica White and Ninja Tune. While the South Korean artist pays tribute to the music education she received as a DJ in the UK capital, her relocation to Berlin coincided with the beginning of her career’s ascent. With her 2018 breakthrough track “It Makes You Forget (Itgehane),” from the EP titled _Once_, she rediscovered an abandoned passion for singing, and introduced Korean-language vocals to many clubgoers for the first time. With the creation of her own imprint Gudu Records, and her installment for !K7’s _DJ Kicks_, Gou is an artist reaching toward the peak of her powers. She reflects on her evolving production style as well as her passions for fashion and voice-driven music making.”
